A Lesson from a Rose Flower.

Back when I was small, when I was about 3 years old (or maybe a bit younger). We (with my parents) always passed by my great grand aunts house every Sunday morning on our way back home from church. There, in her garden,  I always roamed and played around which for me was very wide because of my small built and short height at that time. There I saw different kind of plants. And, for the first time I saw there the different types of worms, big, small, fat and thin long worms; and, the black and white leeches too. I  really thought there was only the black leeches but there I saw  the white ones too.  I watched those worms slither around. Then later when I got tired of watching them around,  I  just jumped over them or stayed away from them if I happened to meet one while I went around my great grand aunt's garden.

While I was going around her garden a beautiful red flower attracted my attention and so I picked it. Ouch! I thought. I  looked at my finger and saw it bled. I bit it because of the sharp pain I felt  but I was happy anyway because, I was able to pick a single flower called the rose.

Now, I realized that a rose because of its beauty is protected by its thorns. Who so ever picked it without care will surely be hurt by its thorns. Even up to this time, I still get prick... it still hurts me so now, gently I should hold it.
